Beau Nixon stepped up to the podium and claimed 2nd at the NSW State SUP Titles in Australia this past weekend. Congrats!
This event is the gateway and qualification route for the Australian Titles, which leads to top riders being selected or qualifying for the ISA World SUP Games. The top 6 Open Men surfers are selected to represent NSW at the Australian Titles held in November this year in Currumbin, QLD.
“It’s really great to see that Surfing NSW and Surfing Australia are really supporting Stand Up Paddling, in both the surfing and racing. The event this year set the benchmark for SUP events in Australia, with record entry numbers, prize money and creating a fun but competitive atmosphere. I am stoked to be representing Naish and the NSW! I’m thrilled at having the opportunity to defend my title at the Australian SUP Championships.”
