Congratulations to Naish Team Rider, Jake Jensen, for his outstanding performance at this past weekend’s NZ SUP Champs and Festival!
On day one, Jake secured first place in the Men’s 15km Distance Race on his Javelin 12’6 LE board. Paddling from Army Bay in Shakespeare Regional Park to Orewa Beach, Jake ousted the competition with a time of 1:26:05.
On day two, Jake doubled his gold winning in the 12’6 Men’s Slalom Race at Orewa Beach as he battled in knock-out heat format around a 1.5km technical course, maneuvering boards in and out of waves and buoys within 250m of the shore.
A job well done Jake! Big ups to you!
