Kai Lenny Wins 2016 SEAPaddle NYC
August 20, 2016, New York City, New York – Kai Lenny wins the 10th annual SEAPaddle Challenge around Manhattan Island
Now in its 10th year the SEAPaddle raises money for various autism awareness foundations as well as the Surfers Environmental Alliance.
Racing the 25-mile course on his 14’0” Naish Maliko, Lenny finished with a time of 3:56:03.
Although he was missed the Naish Columbia Gorge Paddle Challenge, Kai was elated to take on a new challenge. “I’m stoked I finally got to do it
Lenny is optimistic of the future for this event and hope it continues to grow in the years to come. “I can see this race becoming a major event on everyone’s race calendar in the future.” said Lenny after the race. From New York, Lenny will be joining Naish teammates Bernd Roediger and Casper Steinfath in Hong Kong for the 2nd annual Hong Kong International SUP Championship.
