Naish Welcomes Henri Kolberg to the Team

Schleswig, Germany – The Naish International Windsurfing Team is stoked to introduce and welcome the latest member of our crew, Henri Kolberg. Kolberg grew up in the small town of Schleswig in Northern Germany, where he became enamored by the power of the wind, waves, and the ocean at a young age. His family prioritized time on the water, and Kolberg has a collection of fond memories of summers spent in Denmark on the family sailboat, which translated perfectly to his love for windsurfing.

Kolberg came across a kid’s windsurf rig at the age of 5 and asked if he could have a try, and it came as no surprise when he immediately became hooked. From that moment forward, he spent every spare moment begging his dad to take him windsurfing so he could build his skills.

Around age 10, Kolberg met Robby Naish on the beach in Sylt, Germany, and told him how he dreamed of being a professional windsurfer when he grew up. “Never would I have imagined being on his team one day. So I am really stoked and honored to be representing Naish around the world now,” Kolberg said.
