Naish’s Langeree Powers Onto The Podium In Dahkla
On March 19, 2014, the PKRA Kiteboard World Cup kicked off the beginning of the first wave event of the 2014 tour season in Dahkla, Morocco.
Mother nature set the stage for one of the most exciting kiteboarding disciplines as slightly offshore winds filled in at 14-20 knots while the mixed swell and large tidal range played games with competitors as they struggled to find their place in the line-up.
Ultimately, wave selection played a large part in the outcomes of many of the day’s heats. Jalou Langeree battled it out into the semi-finals by dropping in on some set waves, allowing her to execute her powerful vertical backside hacks and fluid riding, propelling her onto the podium in a very worthy 3rd place.
Congratulations Jalou!
