Naish’s Beau Nixon (AUS) was recently named “Tweed’s Best Athlete”, according to a Daily News readers’ poll. Ousting the competition with 35% of the total votes, Beau is clearly a local favorite!

Results were gathered from an online voting poll where a list of names were placed and local readers of the Daily News and people of the Tweed area casted votes. Included in the list were current World ASP Surfing Champ Joel Parkinson, 2x World ASP Surfing Champ Mick Fanning, 5x World ASP Surfing Champ Stephanie Gilmore, and a long list of other top athletes.
