Kai Lenny and Kody Kerbox battle it out in Chicago
The Stand Up World Series hit Chicago this past weekend for stop #6 of the Stand Up World Series, and the opening leg of the US Trilogy of events.
Naish’s Kai Lenny battled to the line in both the Sprint and Long Distance races with rival Connor Baxter, taking 2nd in both races, earning him 2nd place overall in the event on his Naish Javelin 12’6” LE. Right around the corner was teammate Kody Kerbox, who edged out further competition and took 7th place in the sprint race and 3rd in the distance race, taking home 5th overall, also on his Naish Javelin 12’6” LE.
Now, Kai & Kody are off to San Francisco for stop #7 of the Stand Up World Series, the 2013 America’s Cup, on August 30th. Stay tuned for another epic showdown!
