Naish’s Manca Notar Takes 2nd In Paris
For the fourth consecutive year, the Nautic SUP Paris Crossing ran through Paris in Stand Up Paddle form as part of the annual Paris Boat Show. Europe’s largest SUP race attracted over 300 hundred paddlers to the River Seine, the waterway that flows through the heart of the French capital, for a bitterly cold but spectacular weekend of racing.
Manca Notar and her Naish Javelin 12’6” LE steadily dominated the 12km long distance race along the Seine and continued to dig deep across the finish line, capturing a well-earned 2nd with fellow Naish rider Faustine Merret taking a reputable 3rd.
During the knockout sprints (which were held in a nice indoor pool), Manca claimed her status back by taking 1st – although it wasn’t enough to push her back to the top spot overall. In the end, Manca still took home a very worthy 2nd Overall in the event, proving this up and coming star is only getting started in her journey to the top.
