Stop #2 of the Hellenic SUP CUP 2013 brings the fun

The 2^nd race of the Hellenic SUP CUP 2013 brought loads of fun to Mylopotas Beach, IOS Island, Greece on August 24^th & 25^th.

Day 1 consisted of a Long Distance Race where over 30 eager paddlers crowded the starting line to brave the steady 15 knots of wind. Congrats to the below Naish riders who paddled their way to top spots on their Naish boards:

1^st: George Kostantis (Naish Javelin 14’0”)

1^st (Women): Konstantina Kontarini (Naish Javelin 12’6”)

3^rd: Dimitris Kostantis (Naish Javelin 14’0”)

4^th: Nikos Sirigos (Naish Javelin 12’6”)

5^th: Kritis Marios (Naish Glide 12’6”)

Day 1 closed with a SUP Sprint Race where George Kostantis managed yet another victory and took 1^st place on the podium.

On Day 2, the SUP Sprint relays closed out the event with a dramatic final between youngsters from team “Young Guns Naish” and local team “Meltemi”. The two teams were head to head until the last few seconds of the race but in the end, it was “Young Guns Naish” who took the lead and finished first.

Stop #3 is right around the corner on September 8^th – get ready!
