Riggs Napoleon joins Team Naish
Naish International is excited to announce the addition of Oahu’s Riggs Napoleon to the team!
Riggs hails from the Napoleon clan, a family filled with generations of talented outrigger paddlers and surfers – so naturally, he’s decided to follow in their footsteps and perhaps, create some of his own.
At only 15, Riggs is already an accomplished big wave SUP surfer and racer, and most known for being the youngest person in history to SUP the Molokai to Oahu Channel solo at 12 years old. More recently, he won the elite 2013 Olukai Ho’olaule’a SUP Race (U-18 Div.), was the 4-time winner of the Memorial Cline Mann race (U-18 Div.) since 2009 and the Jr. SUP Champion in the 2013 Paddle to Battle MS event in Australia.
“I’m honored to be part of an awesome team with awesome people! I look forward to seeing what the future holds.” – Riggs Napoleon
Riggs certainly has quite the list of accomplishments already under his belt and there’s no end in sight! With his steady stream of focus, talent, determination, and positive vibes, Riggs will continue to thrive both in and out of the water, and Naish is beyond stoked to have him on the team.
“I’m super excited & honored to welcome young waterman, Riggs Napoleon to the Naish team family. He comes from an incredible waterman family where the ocean lifestyle lies deep in his blood. We look forward to watching him grow as he pushes the limits in Big wave SUP surfing and racing.” – Chuck Patterson, Naish Team Manager
